Hello everybody, I want to share with you one of the best experiences I had last weekend. I’m sure some of you been in San Pancho or probably heard something about this charming village. Guys I’ve been in town for almost 5 years and last Sunday, my friends and I decided to have a quick get away to San Pancho.
If is your first time in town or as me you spend most of the time in Puerto Vallarta and you want to discover some fun stuff happening around you should to know San Pancho is an hour drive to Puerto Vallarta around 25 miles, or you can take a bus ride direct to San Pancho in Wal-Mart.
We sat on the beach with our chairs and umbrella, but If you want to be spoiled with food and drinks are some restaurants on the beach; Which I found very clean and not a lot of vendors around, If you really want relax this is a good spot to be.
San Pancho is well known as a surfing and stand up paddling destination; I’m sure next time I’ll go to San Pancho I’ll be practicing at least stand up paddling.
Also San Francisco (San Pancho) is famous for the comunity center named Entre Amigos; Nicole Swedlow started everything on 2006; Entre Amigos caught my attention because they have a program named Recicla Shop, they named a version of a “ comunity thrift store” and like any thrift store you can find great deals on new and used clothes, housewares, one-of-a-kind items and fun jewelry. I think it is a must to stop to buy some cool stuff for your friends.
I highly recommend enjoying the Sunday sunset in one of the restaurants as we did. We had a blast dancing salsa, merengue and cumbia. I think the last time I’ve danced those rhythms was almost a year ago.
For me San Pancho exceeded my expectations. It’s not just a beautiful beach, has much more to offer such as, water activities, art galleries, restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Always is great to have a quick escape in Paradise. Guys take the chance to try something new, I’m sure you’ll love it.
And before you go to San Pancho, don’t miss SETAC event named Duckathon on February 19th. At Torre Boana, from 7-11 pm, enjoy the open bar, food and music. ?And remember as the last year The “swimming boys” are the center of attention as the crowd is anxiously watching and waiting as they collect the toy ducks in the pool and call out your number to see which of the fabulous prizes you might win; donation is 400 pesos. I’ll be attending the Duckathon and you?
Guys see you around Olas Altas, If you have any question feel free to e-mail me at Alfonso@tropicasa.com Have an excellent weekend.
