Jeri Grant: Real Estate Agent
Jeri arrived in Puerto Vallarta from Newport Beach, California in 1981 aboard the motor yacht Hotei, and has been living in Vallarta for 41 years. “Entering Banderas Bay in the early morning as the sun rose over the Sierra Madres, I knew I was home. Hotei, the God of Contentment and Happiness brought me to Vallarta!”
The everyday scenery, culture, food, and people keeps Jeri happy knowing she’s living in her dream city. “Vallarta has given me the best of friends with shared values. Those that truly care about each other, and are altruistic, friends that care about protecting the environment and all the little critters too.”
Jeri speaks both English and Spanish, and her first career of over 25 years was doing yacht maintenance, crewing, and sailing up and down the pacific coast.
She also had a successful career with the Vallarta press from 1992 until 2019, first working for Vallarta Opina/Vallarta Today, and 27 years with Vallarta Lifestyles Publishing Group. In addition, she organized Fiesta Blanca, an annual fundraiser for local private AIDS organization Vallarta Contra el SIDA from 2000 to 2007, and since 1996, Jeri has been a CLV Citizen Liaison Volunteer for the American community and the US consular agency.
Jeri has been with Tropicasa Realty since 2014 and enjoys working for such an ethical and helpful agency that always keeps its team informed and educated.
When Jeri isn’t busy assisting clients, she starts her days paddling the south shore or driving around the country exploring the history and culture of Mexico. But no matter where her travels take her, she always comes back to Puerto Vallarta. “The magic of Vallarta and its friendly people makes newcomers feel welcome no matter where they’re from or what language they speak.”
