Having Gas Delivered to Your Puerto Vallarta Home

Last week we talked about learning to fall in love with gas ovens, which are frequently found in Puerto Vallarta condos and homes, along with other gas appliances like washers and dryers. So, this feels like a great time to talk about how to get gas for your property.

If you own a condo in Puerto Vallarta, the gas is likely taken care of by your building manager and you will either be billed a flat rate as part of your Homeowners Association maintenance dues or billed individually by usage.

If you have your own gas tank you will need to call for gas to be delivered. There are three main gas companies in town to choose from, and they will usually deliver to your home in any neighborhood within two to three hours of calling them.

Global Gas:
Call: (322) 290 1010 from Puerto Vallarta
Call: 01 800 290 1011 Internationally
Text WhatsApp: 322 139 9785

Flogas:
Call: (322) 281 0009 from Puerto Vallarta

Sonigas:
Call: (322) 209 0664 from Puerto Vallarta

All three companies also have websites and social media pages, for additional ways to contact them, or you can just wave them down as they drive through your neighborhood, with each truck having its own little announcement sounding as they pass by the street.

So how much does gas cost? A two-person household using a gas oven, water heater and washer/dryer can expect to use between 200 and 300 pesos of gas per month ($10 to $15 USD), depending on usage. Delivery is free from all gas companies and the minimum purchase price on delivery is between 400 and 500 pesos, depending on the company.
